What do Chandler homes usually need?
Chandler grew fast from farmland into subdivisions, and most of its neighborhoods came with block walls and an HOA. That shapes the work we see most:
- Raising or repairing back walls that were built at the minimum height years ago.
- View fencing on lots that back onto lakes, golf courses and greenbelts.
- Pool barriers, because Chandler requires a 6- to 7-foot perimeter around every pool.
- RV and side-yard gates cut into existing walls.
Rules change at the city line. Gilbert, Tempe and Mesa each have their own codes, and Sun Lakes falls under Maricopa County. Start with our Chandler permit guide, and we will check the rules for your exact address.
